“We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...

“Very strange room quite large with a very small double bed not as wide or long as a standard double Room was in the basement and you would not want to spend anytime in there other than to sleep. Staff helpful and we could check in early and location was good as you could walk to everywhere in Halifax. Ok if you just need a bed for the night as we did but not if you wanted to spend a weekend away and the hotel was part of the experience”
