“Very smooth check-in. The place was really beautiful. The location was good, too. Quick walk to the red brick area. 20 minute walk to the ropeway. We were there in June, and didn't need to use the fire place, but the smell of woodsmoke was there. During winter, you expect the smell of wood burning, for sure, but I was not expecting that in June. However it didn't bother us since it was kind of like staying at a camping site. Just wondered if this might not be great for some people sensitive to...

“We enjoyed the stay very much. The room is smartly designed. The bedding is comfortable. The view of the harbor is an added bonus. The breakfast has incredible selection of food from Japanese to western.”

“Muy buena ubicación ”

“This was the perfect stay for our one night in Hakodate, but wish we could have staying longer to explore the city and enjoy this wonderful hotel! The amenities are top notch, from the private and public onsen, to the complimentary drinks and snacks, to the beautiful and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is such an array of Japanese food and loved the late night ramen. Such a nice way to unwind after a day of train travel. Really enjoyed the views from the property and truly felt relaxed here.”

“ Perfecto.”

“Breakfast was awesome, nice bath with views to Mt Hakodate. Staff however struggled to understand my limited japanese. English is out of the question so if you dont know any Japanese at all you might have a hard time asking to make reservations at restaurants, making changes to orders etc. But Overall it is a nice place”

“The room was a little tight if you have decent amount of luggage. But it was quiet, close to the JR, the fish market, and had a nice lounge with lovely views. The washer/dryer in the room was very helpful for easy washing on long vacations.”

“It was such a lovely stay with excellent food options, both at the hotel buffet and near the hotel. The employees were also very professional and welcoming to us. Would book here if I have the chance to come back to Hakodate!”

“Everything is good!”

“Prima hotel als tussenstop”

“The laundry room was easy to use and super convenient for longer trips. I was able to do 2 loads without having to wait. The room was spacious and I could open up two large luggages and still have space. The location felt a little more remote but is accessible to most attractions either by foot or by tram. ”
