The room was clean. Location was 12 minutes walk from the station, and a nice walk. I arrived after 930pm and the staff were able to check me in last minute. The restaurant was good and breakfast was excellent, served until 11am. The bikes rental was super useful , I was able to explore the beaches even though weather conditions were not the greatest. I’ll stay here again no doubt.

Great hotel in a great location! Haarlem was a lovely little town and the hotel was perfect walking distance. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful and the parking was easy and convenient too. Would definitely stay again when I come back to the area

So if your looking to stay in Haarlem this is a great place with just 5 min walk your in the centre. The place was clean and the onsite restaurant was top notch and had a fantastic anniversary meal. There’s a lovely outside courtyard and roof top area if weather is good for drinks and eats if you so choose. Staff really pleasant Out it this way if we’re going back we’re staying there

I stayed here as it was the most central spot to Zandvoort for the F1 Dutch Grand Prix and also to downtown Amsterdam. It was a very nice clean property in a very quiet and local area, close to everything. Only a 15 minute walk to the Haarlem station and easy to get around! It was also only a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre of Haarlem where local shops are and what they call the “golden streets”. Food was delicious at this hotel (breakfast and dinner) and the staff was also very friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would come back to stay here again! With how easy the transit systems are, I would recommend staying here as your base and just taking the train to Amsterdam or to other places to visit. Loved the Metzlr House!

The room was comfortable, with a small sitting area and side table good for having a tea or coffee. King bed was good. Nice shower. Be aware the spiral staircase if you have mobility concerns as there is no lift. Lovely breakfast and staff in the Deli Cafe.

a bit more patience and it will be a great place

the House was still doing some refursbishment works, so we did not had the full experience, as of October 25 this should be better. People are very kind, the Restaurant was excellent. One point to improve was the Breakfast which was served in the Cafeteria next door during the works, let's hope it will ipprove after the house if full ready.

Absolutely brilliant stay - I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! If you’re looking to visit Amsterdam then it’s a 12-15 minute walk to the station and much nicer than staying in Amsterdam! Haarlem is so beautiful and lovely to walk round with lots of great food spots! Our rooms were immaculate, the reception staff were SO helpful and welcoming, always there to ask questions and say hello! 10/10 - stay here!!
