Vacations Close To Gus's Fresh Jerky

From the outside looking in, I am surprised I stayed here. I was sketched out with the homeless people and graffiti on the windows, however, you must have a room key to use the elevator which felt like a safety net. Once we got to the room, it wasn’t as bad as I was thinking it was going to be. The bed was hard as rock to sleep on but everything else was just fine for our short stay. It was not luxurious but I didn’t expect it to be. I would say if any improvement can be made, it would be to get better mattresses or a pillow top.

Staff very friendly . Room was clean , small but comfortable. Only complaint , low water pressure and the shower head points way out and you cannot adjust . Bed and pillows comfortable . Restaurant downstairs was excellent and priced well for breakfast . Overall a very good location to walk to padre stadium .

Just not a good experience for us, from the dining experience to roaches in the room. Then the front desk said you should have taken a picture, was trying to kill them not take a portrait. Probably want be staying with this group again. Paid in full months before arrival then hit with a $130.00 hotel fee then a $200.00 deposit refundable. Way too much of a cost for product received.
