Hotel Caprice was wonderful! The perfect hotel experience for first time visitors to Grindelwald. Its location is perfect, right in front of the train station ( it is a short steep walk though) and right in town, walking distance to dining options, Coop, and shopping in town. Depending on how much of a walker you are, you can walk to First, and Pfingstegg (15-20 minutes). The hotel breakfast accommodations were perfect for our needs; coffee, eggs, fruit, bread, and the Swiss oatmeal breakfast: Bircher Muesli that quite frankly I am still craving. The hotel's accomodations were also perfect for us. Equipped with a 60 and a 90 degree sauna, a steamroom, a red light therapy room and a jacuzzi, it was difficult to leave. The hotel also has a small gym room and the premises are always clean and tidy. I will definitely be re-visiting!

Quaint, Swiss chalet perfection. Steps from train station, but up in a hill to view quintessential Swiss mountain views. Immaculately clean. Expertly decorated and maintained. Staff/owners were accommodating to every need and friendly. Breakfast buffet was unmatched- maybe the best croissants I’ve ever had. I loved it here. If I ever stay in Grindelwald again, I will be back! Four stars!!!

Wonderful staff, great breakfast options, amazing views. Room was very comfortable and seems rather new. Bathroom was very modern with all amenities. Hotel has a jacuzzi and sauna. Met Bailey, their 4 legged ambassador who is very friendly. A short walk up the hill from the train station, could not have been more convenient and you don’t hear or see the trains. I will be back!!

Great location, really quiet, sauna is amazing especially after a long days of hiking. The breakfast here is really delicious with so many options, not to mention the view you get while eating. Closy family hotel

The hotel is slightly elevated and is just a short walk from Grindelwald station, making it both quiet and convenient. The room was spacious and spotless, and the breakfast was delightful, especially the sesame bread and cold cuts. The host’s friendly cat greeted us warmly and even played with us, adding a special touch to our stay. We stayed for five nights and truly appreciated the excellent balance of price and quality of service.

Just blown away by everything about this hotel and its owners. The location was perfect just a short up hill walk from the train station and central for everything we needed. The hotel is just amazing and we could not fault anything at all. From the room to the breakfast and the spa, all wonderful. And the views are absolutely stunning. Alexander, his family and staff are so helpful and friendly we would highly recommend and we hope to be back. Thank you for making our holiday so perfect.

We loved it, incredible service and attention, nice breakfast, rooms nice and clean. The only thing it was challenging was to arrive to the hotel through an slipery up hill street with the suitcases but we for sure will go back and absolutely do recomend the hotel.
