We had an amazing time at this property! What a Location!!! What great views to the mountains and we could not ask for more, we were in awe throughout the full trip! The hotel is exceptionally conveniently located for the station! We were on the mountain side and never heard the trains. Rooms are very basic (tiny towels, cheap toiletries). That said, they are very clean, comfortable and staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. The hotel though is incredibly dated and would benefit from an upgrade. For me, was very overpriced for the offering (given how dated and lacking in anything more than basic offering) compared to other places we’ve stayed in during our trip through Switzerland. Location doesn’t justify the premium. Simple upgrades to the towels and room facilities would make such a difference, even if the decor wasn’t updated.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. We arrived at our hotel hours before our check in and we are surprise that the staff let us checked in early and upgraded our room which have the best view, spacious and comfotable. The breakfast was really amazing as well. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Overall very satisfied, excellent & amazing view and location perfect. The staff are so helpful that you will not wait a long time if you need help specially the Supervisor or assistant manager (sorry I forgot the names) who assisted us on the safe deposit box, also Vanessa who showed us how their door work as airconditioner, Harrizon the front desk who checked us in and also the front desk who check us out. Breakfast is very good. Also, there are lots of food choices on their menu in the restaurant and all very satisfying. I tried their fondue, steak, etc but the most recommended one that I really like is their cold beet soup with ice cream - yummy.

Amazing views! You can't beat the convenience if you're travelling by train - it's right across the platform - and the trains are so quiet we slept with our windows open and still didn't hear them. The breakfast had everything you could desire and the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable.

The hotel is so close to the station that you'd think the noise will interrupt you. The building is fairly quiet and the staff there is amazing. There is ample seating in the restaurant and you are well taken care off. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great Views of Eiger

We booked a south facing room for one night, so that we could view the Eiger. We enjoyed out stay so much we stayed an additional night. All of the staff was very helpful, and I'll likely stay here again on our next visit. Oh, it about 10 meters from the train station--you can't get a hotel closer to the Grindelwald train station.
