I used to own a resort like this and I thought it was a clean room and because this is harder than a motel to keep up(fishermen, hunters) it was more than adequate. I am sure many families have had a good time there. The staff member was very nice.we enjoyed our stay there.

What a wonderful place to stay! My husband and I spent two nights here and absolutely loved it. The rooms were clean, cozy, and full of charm, with a beautiful view of the lake. The lady at the front desk was friendly and incredibly helpful, and the entire property was well maintained. We will, without hesitation, stay here again the next time we are in the area.

My son and I stayed here during his Spring Break to celebrate his 13th birthday. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The little on-property shop was nice and convenient. It’s a beautiful location, and being able to walk across the parking lot, down to the private pier was really nice. Our room, and the property in general, were clean and well kept, but it’s an older property, so the proper expectations need to be had going in. We had a crazy storm the last night we were there, but we never lost power or had any issues caused by the weather. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back!

We stayed off season. Room was basically clean other then some cobwebs. Hot water was barely room temperature. That was disappointing and cold. Great place for fishing. I would stay again only if they turn up the hot water heater.

Worth the short drive

This is a cute spot to relax and look at the lake. We were there for the Trade Days and would definitely recommend it. The drive out is relaxing after a day of shopping.

Comfortable and Clean

My son and I spent the weekend in a lakeside cabin and had a great time. The lake was beautiful and peaceful and the cabin was very clean and comfortable. It included everything we needed to make it home away from home.

Lake Fork fishing trip getaway

Cabin was brand new and had all the supplies (other than food) that we needed. All beds very comfortable. Plenty of room for 5 adults or couple w/ kids. Great space on the water w/ your own dock! Sunrise & sunsets were beautiful! Husband loved being able to tie his boat up right below cabin and come & go as he pleased. Definitely will be back!

The peace I found was so very much needed. It was quiet and beautiful. I loved having the dock out the door and seeing nature come right up close to us. The lady that cleaned the cabins was so sweet and thoughtful. The conversation and her words to me of the loss of my father was much needed and appreciated. Thank you and we will be back.

Fishing trip

We went to celebrate my upcoming birthday and do some fishing. Once checked in we noticed the interior needs updating furniture old and faded. The carpet old. The back deck needed power washing lots of moss on the deck. The bathroom fan didn’t work the shades needed updating and were dusty. The light switch in the bathroom didn’t stay on. The staff was friendly upon check in. Debbie in housekeeping was amazing she made sure we had what we needed. Would stay again just not in cabin 12 or 11. Due to the interior being so old.

The beds were filthy stained with urine the mattress pad was worse than the mattress. We had to demand a new one for one bed. The shower liners had black mold spots all over and a slimy pinkish film across the bottom half, we had to remove the liners before showering. Dishes had dried food on them, the silverware holder was gunked with mustard and crumbs. Couch was disgusting. Under the cushions were filled with dirt and crumbs. Toilet had dried waste speckles on it we had to clean and disinfect the entire cabin. Bathrooms and shower are very small. The kitchen blind wouldn't go up or down. Light over the kitchen sink was out. The oven needed cleaned it smoked when we cooked a pizza. Every window sill had dead bugs in it. I was told the owner would contact me It has been 2 weeks and no contact. The 2 new house cleaners were super friendly and helpful! I would not recommend especially if traveling with family. I am very disapointed in our experience here.
