“This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...

“Staff were very courteous and accommodating, and gave helpful suggestions about the local area. Breakfast was made to order at our chosen time. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. ”

“Friendly staff who warmly welcomed us on our arrival. Room was clean, well equipped with all that you expect and though we didn't use the shower the bath was welcome at the end of a hot day! The food was gorgeous, sizes were good and all freshly made. There's ample parking at the back. Would we go back? Yes we most certainly would.”

“The room was clean. The bathroom a little inconvenient (especially the shower, which is hard to use without spraying everywhere). The staff are very pleasant. The breakfast is not great, especially if you choose the non full english breakfast options.”

“Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...

“I really enjoyed my stay at this establishment, everything was just how you would want it. Very helpful staff at check in, lovely room with a seaview, comfy bed, great shower. Breakfast was lovely, as was the lady serving it. I was checked out by one of the owners, who was very friendly and helpful. So I can highly recommend The Two Lifeboats!”
