The room we had booked, the deadbolt was broken. They immediately changed our room (an upgrade!). The office lady is so friendly and so funny, we felt like we were at home the moment we stepped into the office to check in. Most comfortable bed out of any hotel i have stayed at!

The bed was super comfortable. The room had a decent sized fridge with a real freezer, not one of those little freezer compartments. The staff was very friendly. This is an older motel but it's clean and comfortable - definitely the best place to stay in Great Bend for this price point.

Like others have said the bed was very comfortable. Older type motel still using keys instead of cards but room was spacious. Air conditioning was NOT noisy & that was a plus. Carpets probably need cleaned. Overall good stay.

We had a very nice stay check-in and check-out were both easy, with friendly staff. The beds were amazing, slept great all night. Baltzell Lodge, is a nice little place on the East edge of town, easy to find and get to. We will be staying here again.

Staf was very helpfull. On Expedia you could not see that the office close at 23PM. I was there around 23.30 pm was closed. Luckely the owner arrived and checked us in! Rooms are very clean. Only thing i missed was a breakfast.
