“The property was very nice - quiet and the rooms were better than to be expected upon outside appearance. However, the people above us made noise until 1 am and began against 5:45, with the front desk doing nothing but calling them . We spoke with the desk several times and left our phone number for a call from manager when we left. We have heard nothing”

“The building is beautiful, as is the park. I think the staff who checked us in need to improve their customer service. However, the restaurant staff and checkout staff were wonderful. The hotel smells awful, and the room cleaning is terrible. It's a great shame since the building is beautiful and the natural surroundings are a unique wonder. “We had an excellent stay. The only thing not in the room was kleenex. The holder was open but no kleenex. Otherwise fine. Also, I had placed my room reservation with credit card. We had an emergency trip to KY for a funeral We live in MO. We checked in on Tue and they said my card would not be run until we checked out on Wed. Wed was the day of my direct deposit. It was ran on Tue, I had to call my UCU because I incurred a late fee. After discussion they removed the late fee.”
