This boutique hotel is absolutely beautiful. The property is spotless, and the staff is incredibly attentive. Breakfast was a highlight, offering an amazing selection of choices. I highly recommend staying here.

Great stay near all the shops and restaurants. The staff was super helpful too helping us find restaurants that were open since we were there in their off season and many were closed. The room was spacious and very clean. 10/10. No complaints!

Lovely hotel in the centre of Gränna. Restaurant closed sunday-monday. Nice, lovely room but bad ventilation, so very stuffy and hot Amazing breakfast

Wonderful stay at this lovely historical hotel. The food & staff were phenomenal- make sure to book in the restaurant at least once - 5 star dining! Pack some ear plugs as the hotel is on the main road & you can hear the traffic day & night. But still worth the unique stay!

Hotel was very beutiful and well located in Gränna. Breakfast was unique with great service. The only negative was that in check in service was not very friendly and there was pressure to book a table in the hotel restaurant for dinner. Of course it is understandable that they cannot quarantee a table if not booked ahead but customers also need time to think and plan their stay.

Absolutely Charming

What a wonderful little hotel. They upgraded my room, which was unexpected and very much appreciated. It was so welcoming and comfortable, with a tub and a balcony. The staff are lovely, the grounds are a little adventure with an apple orchard and little areas to sit in and enjoy. Close to everything so you can walk everywhere and take in this sweet little town. I had dinner in my room (risotto, fabulous), and in the morning a bountiful breakfast that was beautifully presented and very tasty. It’s a great stop to break up the drive between Copenhagen and Stockholm. Cannot more highly recommend! Note: If you need absolute quiet I would recommend requesting a room in one of the side buildings. My room was in the main building (which is from 1769) above the dining room, and in the morning there was unfortunately a very loud child that kind of hijacked the whole area, including climbing up the stairs to my room. Nothing the owners could do much about, unfortunately. Just something to be aware of if you need absolute silence in the morning. Or bring earplugs😊 They also asked me when I was brought to my room if I would like the hotel to not play any music downstairs in the morning, which I said was not a problem for me. I 10/10 would still stay in that room!

Hotel Amalias Hus was in a great location- close to downtown and great hiking trails behind the property. The food was delicious- lovely 3 course breakfast with lots of choices and dinner was also very good. A quaint, historic property with lots of little seating areas outside to enjoy a book or a drink. All the staff were extremely accommodating. Forget to mention there are nice views of Lake Vättern from the dining room.

One of the most memorable hotels we stayed at on our Swedish drive trip. The hotel rooms were very quaint and the restaurant was outstanding. We had an elaborate, traditional, Swedish dinner and then in the morning a very well prepared breakfast. We stayed one night, but wished we had stayed several nights.

Ett fantastiskt mysigt hotell i stort sett mitt i Gränna. Gamla charmiga byggnader som restaurerats och fungerar fint. Bra sängar, rent och välstädat överallt, rymligt badrum med jacuzzi, en fantastisk frukost som till skillnad från de flesta hotell serveras vid bordet och kan avnjutas i lugn och ro. Wifi fungerade bra och utanför den riktiga högsäsongen kan man ganska lätt hitta fri nattparkering på stora gatan utanför hotellet. Vänlig personal och välkomnande atmosfär på alla sätt. Tyvärr levde hotellets middag inte upp till förväntningarna, ingen avsmakning på vinet, delar av maten kall och en del andra misstag drar ner helhetsbetyget trots viss kompensation vilket var bra, men det är ju inte riktigt så man vill ha det med tanke på den relativt höga prisnivån. Som helhet supertrevligt ställe men för mycket slarv på middagen för full pott.
