Turtle-watching right on the beach was unforgettable…we saw nesting leatherbacks steps from our room. The rooms were spotless with fresh linens and lovely-smelling soaps and creams. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere perfectly tranquil, and the buffet delicious. Special shout-out to the staff when we locked our keys in the room very late at night, they came right away and helped us in with no fuss at all. So accommodating! Yes, the drive is long, but absolutely worth it. Already planning our return! J&M

had a wonderful stay at Mt Plasir. The staff were extremely courteous and welcoming from start to finish. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The meals were absolutely delicious, and the overall environment was peaceful and very relaxing. It was the perfect place to unwind, and I would definitely recommend Mt Plasir to anyone looking for a calm and enjoyable getaway.

Great location

We had a great time, although it rained a lot. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good. It's a lovely location as well.

Our party of 5 arrived after dark and did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the facility in general and our room in particular - this held our party perfectly. One enclosed room with a king sized bed; and an open area which held one king sized and two queen sized beds. There was more than enough room to move around, and we were all quite satisfied with our pick. We couldn't see it at the time because the blinds had to be closed but we could hear the sea very close by. The next morning we could see that there was a large private verandah and the beach right there. There were steps leading from our verandah down to the beach. After exploring the facility we found the pool rather small but warm. The staff were over and above great to deal with.They accommodated us in every way, but were polite and firm when they needed to be, and answered questions patiently. The dining area was well laid out and we liked the fact that we had the same table each meal. The food was local and delicious and we enjoyed all our meals.

Feels like family and Turtles Everywhere!

What an amazing place. On arrival we got a welcome drink along with a briefing that explained what was available. Very comfortable and the staff made you feel like family. The food was excellent and the pool was just perfect. As this time was during the laying season for leatherback turtles we were not disappointed as the first night 20 turtles laid their eggs just in front of the hotel. Not to mention that was happening all along the beach every night. Our last morning we saw 10 turtles laying their eggs at 5:45am. I also recommend to do the Cocoa tour they offer if you want to taste some of the best chocolate which are handmade. You will not regret going to this hotel.
Disturbed sand are all the nests.

I cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel from the staff to the estate to the aesthetics of the estate, but I have to give a special thank you, to the staff and managers they are beyond wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I’m a solo traveler. However, although I am a solo traveler everyone went out their way to make me feel so comfortable. By the time I left I felt like I was leaving family. Now as far as left I hotel itself rooms 10 out of 10 Food 10 out of 10 service 10 out of 10 professionalism 10 out of 10 Ocean views 10 out of 10 all in all everything was 10 out of 10 if you really are looking for a nice relaxing vacation with tours included I definitely highly recommend Mt. Plaisir Estate Hotel! PS my favorite thing to do was releasing of the baby turtles and waking up to the sound of the ocean like I said 10 out of 10 now I have to be honest it is quite a drive from the airport, but it is worth it. I would definitely go again without hesitation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Das Hotel ist noch recht neu, daher sind die Anlage und die Zimmer sehr schön. Jedoch hätten wir bei dem Preis erwartet, dass auch die Details funktionieren, was leider nicht immer der Fall war. Bspw war trotz des Check-ins um 15 Uhr unser Zimmer nicht fertig, der Zimmerservice ist am nächsten Tag einfach nicht gekommen, das Badezimmer ist suboptimal konstruiert, was die Lage von Toilette und Waschtisch sowie den Wasserhahn angeht. Das Essen ist in Buffetform, alles wird selbst gekocht und gebacken. Die Qualität ist hoch, die Produkte stammen aus der Region, jedoch war in unserem Fall auch einmal das Brot für die Suppe bzw. das Eis alle. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Schildkröten am Strand sind natürlich das Highlight des Hotels. Ansonsten ist Kajak-Fahren inklusive, der hoteleigene Pool ist sehr klein und der Strand zu unserer Verwunderung recht unsauber durch Algen und Plastikmüll. Baden ist durch die Steine im Wasser auch schwierig, stattdessen kann man im einfließenden Grande Riviere schwimmen. Die Lage ist malerisch tropisch, die Anwohner sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. In dieses Hotel fährt man, um die Schildkröten zu sehen!

The staff went out of their way to make my mom feel comfortable. She is vegetarian and the staff made her special foods without us even asking. She walks with a cane and they accommodated her by giving us an Ocean view room next to the restaurant to make her stay as comfortable as possible. The food was farm to table and very delicious. I cannot recommend this establishment enough. The turtle watching tour that was arranged by the hotel was very Insightful. I plan on staying again on my next trip to Trinidad.

All I can say is my stay was simply amazing. The staff is wonderful one of the girls braided my hair. We had a family wedding to go to in Sangre grande the staff wanted to make sure that we were safe and got us to the wedding on time it’s a really long drive, but they made sure that we safely got there. This place is amazing. Great food great great vibe so relaxing, beautiful beach. There is nothing more that they can do it’s honestly just paradise.
