Staff were lovely. Nice location with a free ferry over to the main city every 8-10 mins. A few restaurants nearby and small shop for standard items. Room overall felt small compared to other premium rooms at Radisson Blu hotels - more 3 star then 4 star with no real added extras. Bathroom could have done with a deep clean. Breakfast was served in bar dining space but wasn’t enough seating when it was supposed to be quieter so ended up on lounge sofas. Selection at breakfast was good but not great and felt like it was limited because of the serving space.

For the second time in two years, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a week in August 2026. The Radisson was an ideal location for all of us. Although it’s separated from central Gothenburg by the Göta Ă€lv River, a short, free ferry ride from a nearby ferry dock will take you to Stenpiren where you can walk, take trams, or buses to any point in the city itself. There are also bus and tram stops close to the Radisson that provide alternative access the main part of the city. The staff at the hotel were professional and welcoming (we particularly appreciated the help Alma provided at the front desk). The rooms are clean and very quiet, the beds are very comfortable, the showers provide hot water with excellent pressure, and the curtains completely blocked out the light of the summer sun. Our experience last year taught us that the hotel breakfast offerings are amazing, even for members of my family who are vegetarian and gluten-free. Saunas, hot tub, workout room, a rooftop lounge that offers wonderful views of the city, and little touches throughout the hotel that still appeal to science geeks (the lights in the main restaurant form a Newton’s Cradle). This year, we visited the hotel bar where Joshua prepared amazing drinks, including an amazing drink that he invented to satisfy my wife’s tastes. Stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

Staff not helpful at all. Parking was across the street and staff did not tell us to pay for parking when entering and we had a ticket this morning for the parking . Asked staff what to do or where to pay it and they didn't know.and didn't care or give us any help. In Canada you pay for parking upon leaving the parking lots. Due to language we couldn't read direction upon entering garage. False advertising on parking. No parking available at hotel. We are 2 -78 year old seniors with mobility issues so parking was important. We are from Canada and no one to help us with menu in restaurant last night.Could not read the menu so went to bed without supper. Did not inform us that key had to go into electric system to get lights on in room . Found it by chance.would not recommend it to anyone.
