Single person stay in a double room, happy I upgraded because the other single rooms were of somewhat lower quality. Good location, breakfast was ok although I'm pretty sure the bacon was off so avoided that.

Nice classic hotel in central Gothenburg with easy access to public transport. Friendly staff and good breakfast selection with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Only disadvantage for me with a room facing the street was the noise from the trams. Would stay again but then ask for a room further in.

Best Western used to be the elite place to stay but although this hotel wasn’t bad.. we never had anyone come and clean our room so the rubbish piled up which wasn’t hygienic. There were rarely any staff about. One day the lift was out of order and we were on the top floor with two children and a buggy and the stairs aren’t the easiest to manoeuvre with a buggy. Plus you have to up one flight of stairs just to use the lift which doesn’t make any sense. Budget friendly-yes. Good for families, depends on the floor/room, I guess. But no amenities that you would expect from a hotel such as coffee/tea/kettle in the room. Plus overly hot at night and opening the balvony window door is a little unsafe with kids.

Very clean room, helpful and efficient staff...great breakfast selection...only slight bugbear was the room was very warm with no aircon or fan. The window did open but it was a minimal gap...This would not stop me from going back again and i am looking at later in the year

Very noisy party street. Hotel is old, but everything is there. Nice bed, nice showers, really good breakfast. Parking is approx. 600 away in a parking house three floors down and no lift.
