Awesome location in the middle of beautiful woods, the feeling and views were just amazing and it just walk around the many trails right around the lodge. The room was extremely cosy and staff was very helpful and kind.
Very nice propoerty, did not have much time to enjoy the beatiful views from the property due to our schedule and 1 nignt stay. Getting to the location after sunset can be a challenge, especially if there are repairs planned for approach bridge.
It was not what I expected when I drove up to the property. But the staff and the property made for a very unique and comfortable stay. The staff makes you feel welcome in a cozy setting. Having a morning coffee in a quiet setting is what I needed. I will stay there again.
Styled like a hostel with intentionality to be a retreat. History here in the original builders intention to provide hospitality in a build looking upon his beloved mountain #7. Lisa is most welcoming. You will be happy here. Very clean, however, bed needs a new mattress. Jacuzzi feature needs to be dropped: water pressure to fill too slow.
No tv. No room A/C.
This a great site. The nature lovers breakfast satisfying, appealing and abundant.
Cozy and secluded, with attentive staff. Alpine Meadows Lodge offers a back country lodge experience just a short drive from town. One of my favorite places to stay in Golden
We had a dreamy winter stay and especially enjoyed the fireplace. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Take care on the wintery road in to the lodge.
Alpine Meadows is a unique rustic lodge in a beautiful mountain setting. The drive up to the lodge 4K up a private mountain gravel road. Upon entering the lodge you are asked to remove your outdoor shoes to preserve the original wood floors. A variety of slippers are provided. We were greeted by Lisa who gave us a tour of the lodge and gave us some history. The lodge is not air conditioned and could get very warm in the summer months. The breakfast is a little underwhelming. It’s basically, toast, cereal, bananas, coffee and tea, but it filled the gap. The lodge and rooms were quite clean but the furniture in the main areas could use a cleaning. There are no TV’s in the rooms but they do have WIFI. Overall it’s an enjoyable place to stay.
The property was beautiful, well maintained and really clean. It’s located outside the city on the hills so it felt like a hillside resort vacation- relaxed and quiet and comfortable. If you are in the area, definitely recommend you to stay here. The staff is really kind and sweet - overall we loved our stay here.
Very quaint and super cute B&B! Service was excellent and the entire place was spotless. The only negative I have is that the beds are quite hard/uncomfortable to sleep on but doable for a few nights.
