We expected basic amenities when we booked, so were not surprised. It's an older motel in the area and I have stayed at a variety of hotels in Gettysburg previously. It was economical for the price, but would probably bring extra towels or ask for extra towels if we stayed here again. Did not see cleaning staff during our stay but also did not have any problems either.

The room was clean and the A/C worked great! Staff made check-in easy and there was plenty of parking. The only downside was that the pool was not open but they did have an open pool at their other motel which was close by

This is for the budget minded who, for price and convenience to the Battlefield, are willing to overlook certain things. First, it is clean, the area safe, parking fine, basic in a nutshell. You'll find no spa, no elegant breakfast, fine (and matching) furniture. But you'll get a decent night's sleep at an almost giveaway price. Old school, or, just old. But we've stayed before, we'll certainly stay again. However, if you're looking for modern amenities, perhaps somewhere else might be a better choice. That leaves room for us!

My stay at Colton Motel was mixed. The room was very clean — the bed linens, towels, bathroom, and floors were all spotless, which I appreciated. The staff was helpful. The parking is very easy and the location is walkable and convenient. However, I found the price to be higher than expected for what is offered. The room lacked basic amenities such as seating, and the bed pillows were uncomfortable. Additionally, the heater was not functioning properly, requiring the use of a provided blanket for warmth. The refrigerator operated more like a freezer, making food storage difficult. The room was also located near the laundry area and office, resulting in significant noise. Overall, it may be suitable for someone looking for a clean, simple place to sleep where cleanliness is the priority. It is not ideal for those seeking modern amenities, quiet, or additional comfort. I will not be staying at this location again.

This place is no-frills for sure, but it does offer the best stay for the price. The room provided everything we needed. The bathroom appeared to be recently renovated with a really good shower. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is ideal.

Room was clean air conditioner worked but had a musty smell. Everything work shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Everything was within walking distance. The only time we used the car was to do the auto trail. We would come back to this motel.
