The staff is absolutely incredible. The "Grab n Go" breakfast was great, but the cooked breakfast for 6 of us was fantastic. Will definitely stay here again.
Very clean rooms and very friendly staff. located close the down town (walking distance). The offer a gourmet breakfast for extra money or a grab and go breakfast comparable to other hotel breakfasts at no extra cost.
Great place to stay while in Gettysburg. Historic home centrally located just a stones throw from the Jenny Wade House and The Dobbins House.
Staff was very friendly and communication was great.
Excellent place for couples. Quaint, quiet, and comfortable. They put a lot of TLC into maintaining a clean space and amenities. Small quirky things like squeaky floorboards should be expected, as this place is very old, but well maintained. 5/5 Would stay again in the future.
Fantastic place. So much history. Felt like I was time traveling by staying there. Doors to what I think was the desk and gift shop were always closed so I couldn’t tell if it was open or not but otherwise it was a fantastic place and I will definitely stay there again when I come back highly recommended.
The room was perfect, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Our only complaint was the breakfast. For the price there should be a second option. And the potatoes weren’t very flavorful. We do plan on coming back but will get the grab and go breakfast.
Easy off street parking. Beautiful back yard. Big clean well appointed rooms. Perfect location right in the middle of town. I can't recommend this place enough.
Great historical house, was very clean. Room was comfortable. Was in the Wilkes House, the Georgia Room which had an outdoor porch in the back. Very walkable location. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Gettysburg.
The property had a lot of personality although I wish the website photos were updated since they no longer had the garden with the water features. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They were upfront stating that the property was not disability friendly. It was challenging for my husband. Wish they had more handrails.
The history here is amazing… loved it.. especially hearing some of the ghost stories.
The property is centrally located within the historic district and in fact the property is an original from 1863. Has some battle damage and heavenly involved in the first days battle. It puts you well within walking distance to the historic Dobbin House tavern/restaurant.
Our overall stay was pretty good! I Liked the room and convenient location . Obviously it lacks some of the conveniences that a typical hotel would provide, but that's expected. I felt like communication with staff was a little inconsistent and parking is limited even for the people staying there. The breakfast was tasty but I'm not sure it was exactly worth $18 a person. However, I liked getting the opportunity to talk to other guests during breakfast and learning the history of the place. It was nice I could schedule tours through them as well.
