Ideal for a tired pilgrim, couldn't ask for anything better. The staff were incredibly helpful and super central. It's located right off the Camino trail so you can hit the ground running in the morning

Good location in the centre of Guernica near bars and tourist office. Room was pretty basic but adequate. Good, hot shower. The bottle of water and tea making facility was a nice touch. Biggest issue was the check-in hassle. There is a note on the door to check-in at the bar next door....but the bar was shut. There were several numbers stuck on the bar windows but it wasn't clear which to use and there was no answer initially. Given my phone was nearly flat, it was a big stress I really didn't need. Shame.

Location makes this a good stay

This pension is located in the center of town. The staff made the trip enjoyable. The cafe is open for much of the day in one way or another. The rooms and the cleanliness of them could use an updating, including a deep clean. Overall it was a good enough stay.

I really needed a rest day on my Camino de Santiago, and the hotel was simple and perfect. Rooms are clean, oldies but goodies. At the bar-reception, Thiago was very nice and helpful. The hotel is a good, safe option, if you are not looking for luxuries but convenience. It's centrally located, blocks away from all the historic places, and close to all dining and bars in town.
