The hotel is undergoing a renovation, which is clearly needed, because the room is quite outdated with very old furniture and amenities. I couldn't get the A/C to work, but didn't bother asking about it as the weather was cool enough not to need it. The staff I interacted with was always professional, but one night (around 10:30pm) it took almost 30 minutes to find someone for the front desk to help both folks who were waiting to check in and to help me, as my room key stopped working. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of breads, meats, and pastries. The coffee machine was fine, though I wish there was filtered coffee available for larger portions as I kept having to go back to the machine to refill my cup.

For a visit for Walibo Belgium we stayed here for 2 nights with 4 people. 2 adults and 2 kids. The family room is fine. We got a room with 2 single beds put together and a sleeping sofa. The sofa is fine however theres a big gap on the sides of the mattresses. We had to put some of the pillows to cover the spaces. The bathroom is nice. Two sinks a big mirror, a hairdryer,

My main reason to rate this hotel as an average is due to the poor quality of cooling on the hot day in July. The staff member at the reception was not helpful, was defensive, trying to convince us that the system will cool the room in a few minutes. In reality, all of us were sweating all night. In contrast, the following day we stayed in Mons and the experience was totally different. Foe 4-star hotel it is unacceptable.
