Temperature

Hello, we visited the room and turn back to car and booked another hotel. Room was extremely too warm. Children wouldn't sleep any minute there. We're very disappointed.

We stayed one night during a winter car vacation along the east coast. The hotel is central to shopping, restaurants, and lovely neighborhoods. Street parking was free from 7 pm to 9 am. The facility is steeped in history with charming furnishings in the common spaces and high quality beds and bedding in the room - the most comfortable of all the hotels during our trip. Warm fresh bread and lots of other delicious breakfast offerings. Coffee and tea in the common area as you wish. It’s a secure building and very quiet - in winter with windows closed. I can imagine hearing sounds of the city in the summer. There is a handy elevator to the hotel level, but there are at least 10 steps to get up to the elevator. We will return for a summer visit to this lovely and historic city.

VÀldigt fint och gammalt hotell! Underbar personal som vÀlkomnade direkt och visade runt. Rummet var otroligt fint det med! Det enda negativa jag har att sÀga Àr att sÀngarna gled ifrÄn varandra för lÀtt sÄ om man har en partner sÄ ramlar denne (eller du) ner i springan mellan. Frukosten hade inte sÄ mÄnga alternativ tyvÀrr. SÄg fram emot Àgg och bacon men det fanns mest torra mackor och flingor. Annars var det en fullpott trots att toaletterna Àr gemensamma och inte pÄ rummet! NÀra och bra, personalen var sÄ vÀlkomnande och vistelsen var super!

JĂ€rnvĂ€gshotellet upplevs mer som ett vandrarhem Ă€n ett hotell. Det Ă€r gemensamma toaletter och duschar. Inredningen Ă€r gammal. Vilket iofs sĂ€kert Ă€r ett medvetet val av Ă€garna, men den behöver inte vara sliten för det. Standarden Ă€r lĂ„g med gammal utrustning. I frukosten saknades den ”varma maten” och pĂ„lĂ€ggen som lĂ„g pĂ„ faten kĂ€ndes som ”billighetsmĂ€rken”.

Jag deltog som ombud pĂ„ GĂ€vle Konserthus för Örebro i och med RiksstĂ€mman 2025 för Naturskyddsföreningen! Helt ok rum till ok pris

Plus: ett stor rum, en stor garderob omgjord till hylla/hallförvaring, okej sÀngar, tvÄ charmiga vintage fÄtöljer, tv fanns och den fungerade, bra lÀge för oss. SÄdÀr: Lite slitet. Eventuellt minus: inget eget badrum, men det visste vi nÀr vi bokade. Helt okej.
