“Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village.”

“Well where do I start, the staff were excellent as they were so helpful, caring and very friendly. The hotel had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent as well as being very tasty. Being treated by the cat was lovely as it was so friendly and waited for us at the top of the stairs when we came to our room. So much looking at planning to go back for another visit.”

“Fabulous new B & B recently opened. Olivia & Matt are lovely hosts and very welcoming. Breakfast is delicious and top quality fruit juices served in individual bottles unlike cheap juices served in many places. Our room was large and comfortable with a generous hospitality tray and large kettle. Soft fluffy towels. Ideal location for touring. Well definitely return.”

“On the plus side I thought the staff were very helpful. Our evening meal was acceptable, typical 'pub grub' if I can call it that. However our room was totally unacceptable, small, dishevelled and grubby. The carpet was very worn, a crack in the wash basin, a window which could not be opened and a mattress which emphasised the springs above comfort. Perhaps it was my fault when booking but I thought the room was en suite but access to bathroom was outside our room. This room certainly needs...

“For us, just a one-night stay, but we arrived about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, to find this is an extremely popular venue for Sunday lunches. The menu continued into the evening and we were able to see why it's so popular. A great meal, and then a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning. The room, facilities and bed were all comfortable and all in all, we had made a good choice in a quiet rural location.”

Quiza deberian revisar un poco el menaje, pero es cierto que dejan todo lo necesario para limpiar. El trato es via mobil o e.mail, pero eficiente. A mas dejan detalles para la llegada y se agradece mucho. Repetiriamos sin problemas. ”
