The hotel itself only has 13 rooms, I think. The breakfast is pretty good, the staff are friendly and helpful. The front desk is only staffed a couple of hours during the day, so make sure you get the code to enter the hotel. I had just missed the summer 'peak', so there were only 2 restaurants open within easy walking distance. I only went to the Montecristo Restaurant. The food was good and the staff very friendly. My Visa card wouldn't work when I went to pay, so we worked it out in US dollars. Public transportation is limited and confusing, especially if you don't speak Swedish. But the Troll Hike was a LOT of fun. And I enjoyed the peace and quiet for a couple of days.

Helt ok hotell.

Jag var hĂ€r för 2 Ă„r sedan och dĂ„ fick jag ett plastkort för att öppna min dörr till rummet. Nu hade de bytt ut kortet med en blipp som fungerade utmĂ€rkt. Frukosten var minimal med utbudet var helt ok. Synd bara att tvĂ„l saknades i duschenđŸ˜„

Det var lÀtt och smidigt att checka in. Rummet var otroligt fint och nyrenoverat. Frukosten var ok. Det var ett ganska smalt utbud. Hade ocksÄ önskat mer ekologiska produkter. Det som var hotellets stora nackdel var dock avsaknaden av luftkonditionering. Det var ohyggligt varmt och kvavt inne pÄ rummet och i hela byggnaden. Vi öppnade fönstret, men fick dÄ i sin tur in mÄnga ovÀlkomna gÀster. Synd pÄ ett annars sÄ fint boende.

Ett vÀldigt enkelt hotell.

Inte sÀrskilt mysigt, men du fÄr din sÀng och din frukost. SÀngarna Àr sköna, frukosten enkel. Boendet Àr absolut inte prisvÀrt, men det Àr det enda hotellet i Gamleby, sÄ det Àr inte sÄ mycket att vÀlja pÄ :-)

Fint och tevligt hotell

Mycket rent, frÀscht, trevligt och fint litet hotell. Tyst och lugnt. Det enda som blev lite problematiskt var kortet till dörren som inte fungerade.. tog cirka15 min innan vi slutligen fick ett klick och dörren gick upp. Det Àr mindre bra nÀr kort inte fungerar dÄ hotellet Àr obemannat.

Sorgligt hotell utan personal

Sorgligt att ingen personal fanns pÄ plats utom vid frukosten, dÄ var det trevlig personal i alla fall. Frukost bara tom 09:00, det Àr ju semestertider... Lyckades inte fÄ min mobildata att fungera alls utan var beroende av ett klent wifi. Brukar aldrig hÀnda nuförtiden.

Vi Àr mycket nöjda. Stort trevligt familjerum med sköna sÀngar. HÀrligt badkar. Allt som vi behövde fanns. Trevlig personal pÄ frukosten som gjorde det dÀr lilla extra för barnen. Vi kan varmt rekommendera Gamleby hotell.
