Excellent hotel. Great location, friendly staff. Rooms were a nice size. The restaurant had a great breakfast that was reasonably priced. We didn't try lunch or dinner but heard good things. The bar was also nice and convenient with a little entertainment as well. Thy also have free parking. A great experience. Highly recommend.

Great location; very quiet. The room was oddly arranged and the ventilation was not great. We did the continental breakfast the first morning and would not recommend 14 Euro per person for toast, a slice of ham and some cheese. All that said, having a hotel room just a few steps from the epicenter of Galway is priceless and worth a few quirks. The staff were essentially invisible and the funky old elevator worked well. You don’t really have many great options so close to the railway station and the town center and I think this option may be as good as there is!

While the reception staff were friendly and polite and the lounge/bar area was very nice, the room was definitely not up to a 4 star room. I've stayed in far superior 3 star rooms in other hotels. The amenities were very ordinary. Only stale nescafe sachets and 2 tea bags, no complimentary biscuits, no bar fridge, no lighting over desk for writing or reading. The basin in the bathroom was very slow to empty and the towels were small, thin and scratchy. . Buffet breakfast was very ordinary. The guide on the tv remote didn't work. Definitely overpriced.
