Location, Danny and Marie at the front desk were very helpful, Rooftop bar, and the basement gym (Power Gym) were amazing. It is rare to fine a hotel in this area with this kind of work out facility.

Overall, nice place. A little too hipster cute. Door to our balcony was nearly impossible to open or close once you got it open. Doorknob and window mechanism to outside in need of repair. You’re also competing with classes & gym members for space there, which is somewhat annoying. Minor issues for — by and large — a comfortable place to stay.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. We were upgraded on arrival which was great and the staff at reception were friendly and professional. I had a slight issue with my card but the staff were very patient and courteous. Barfood was lovely, coffee area at reception is great and we loved the snug bar. Decor and vibes are what strikes you first but it's the staff that make the difference. Will definitely be back.

Loved our stay at the Dean in Galway! The amenities were amazing and the room was very nice and clean. I love the decor and style they put into decorating the building, everything is unique and beautiful. The gym was above any other hotel gym I’ve been to, and we enjoyed using the sauna/steam rooms and cold plunge after getting a workout in! If they had locations in other parts of the world I’d stay here every time I travel! Will definitely be booking with them when we return to Dublin and Galway next time!

Please note the rooms are very, very small. There was barely room for our two carry-on suitcases. But the rooms and hotel are decorated beautifully, the bed was very comfortable, and we had a great stay. Otherwise, we loved the hotel. Best hotel gym I’ve ever seen, maybe just the nicest gym period. The pool, sauna, and steam room were an awesome perk. Perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring on foot and riding bikes on the Aran Islands. Great location - super central but just outside the hustle and bustle of the most touristy area. We didn’t try out the restaurant but got good coffee and pastries from the convenient lobby.

The property was very nice. A little further from town than I wished especially when it’s raining. The staff was awesome. I loved the gym. It was a great break in the trip. The food, the service and the views from Sophie’s. Cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. I will definitely stay at The Dean if I ever go back to Galway.

Bed and pillows uncomfortable. Street facing room very noisy. If you want your room cleaned you need to ask at the front desk, we weren’t made aware. No safe in our room. Overall underwhelmed…property, bar and location were good but room not great value for what we paid.
