Excellent Resort, friendly staff and lots of great amenities. Welcoming atmosphere, clean pool and pool area, nice poolside bar. Steakhouse is great, the food is delicious. The Resort is in a great location and we really enjoyed our stay.

It has a beautiful lobby. Perfect location. Beautiful view from all the rooms. Clean. They are truly pet friendly. Made little beds for my dogs. Nice little dog park area. The rooms were a little dated, cramped, and a little beat up but overall clean. Pool area was lovely. Ice machines were not working and room service took forever to help. Was not able to check in when promised and had to wait over an hour after room was promised. But staff very friendly. I will definitely stay there again.

Stayed one night on 16th floor VIP on business. Excellent rooms and room service …pool service needs more training..waited 45 minutes between drinks ..went to bar myself and no one acknowledged me for 20 minutes ..no pool chairs available many full with dirty towels no people ..maybe training to remove towels so customers can have a chair. Lots of empty glasses, food remains and debris around chairs and pool. If you are not in a cabana do not except service. Beautiful hotel but lacking in customer service in pool area.

We were in Galveston for a quick over night stay and was told by someone to check St Luis out that it was nice!! I got on Expedia and booked it for the night. The recommendation did not disappoint!!!! We were there from about 4 in the afternoon and left the next morning. While we were there we strolled the beach which is right in front of the resort. Then we enjoyed the pool and the hot tub at the resort as well as a couple of drinks. The service was very nice around the pool and hot tub as well as the room service!! I highly recommend St Luis Resort in Galveston!!!

This was our first trip to Galveston, so we were unsure of what to expect. This resort was great! Everyone was nice and helpful. Food was amazing. The rooms were a bit dated, but clean and spacious. If we ever go back to Galveston, this would be the only place we would stay!

Love that the place was right across from the beach-the room was clean but right on the air conditioners so couldn’t hear or see the beach through the roaring metal although it was advertised as “partial view” of the ocean. I seemed to be invisible to the staff-sat at the pool waiting to order lunch but never got waited on Didn’t know about the s’mores or slushies or happy hour at the Italian restaurant or morning pool exercises til after through other guests-and I asked when I checked about anything going on while I was there. Enjoyed the workout room and the locker room downstairs. And being able to enjoy the pool for the day after checking out. The pool was packed and it was difficult to find a chair but it was a Friday and Saturday afternoon.
