We enjoyed our stay at Lone Star Lodge and Marina. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the grounds were nice, and I love how quiet it was. I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet with a beautiful view of Lake Ray Roberts. Short walk to marina for boat rentals. We loved it and will be back for any future north Dallas trips!

The lodge and rooms were very clean and nice. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Just the toilet in our room was tiny. Literally the smallest toilet I've ever seen. Other than the place was a great pick, much better than a hotel downtown!

The location of the Lonestar venue was excellent. It makes you feel like you were out in the middle of the woods. The building is very inviting and very handsomely decorated with landscaping and the interior is fabulous. It overlooks the lake and has a great view. The rooms are very comfortable and has everything you need. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were friendly and helpful and welcoming. The marina is excellent and within easy walking distance. It’s just a really fun place to be.

The property was lovely. It is in a state park, so it was very quiet and peaceful. The rooms appear to have been recently renovated. The room is small but perfect for our 2 night stay. Would stay again if in the area.

Room was clean, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. There is no restaurant on the property, and the food available at the marina is a long walk away. It’s a great place for a quiet retreat or for those who have a boat and enjoy fishing. I would stay again.

The staff was accommodating and kind. The room was very clean and well appointed, especially for the price. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The price was very affordable as well. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

The rooms weren’t super clean, there’s a lot of dead bugs around, the AC works fine but if you decide to put the heat on you’ll smell a harsh burning smell that stinks up the room. The staff was very friendly however which is always nice but I think in terms of the rooms itself they should remodel/refurnish the furniture and decorations to feel more country like! 3/5 stars for me, I wouldn’t mind staying here again if they fix and upgrade the rooms to feel more clean and comfortable

The room was old and needed to updated, especially the bathroom. They still use keys versus key cards. Nice location close to marina with nice sitting and walking areas. Pilot Point is a quaint and nice little town. The staff that we met were helpful and friendly.
