The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The hotel has a convenient location to shopping and dining options. The public spaces are beautiful and comfortable. I rented a meeting room for a Celebration of Life gathering and used the hotel's catering service. The food was excellent and the staff was professional and helpful. The hotel restaurant wasn't great for breakfast, as the service was slow and the oatmeal was served undercooked. However, dinner was fine.

Great staff, beautiful property as well. I was surprised breakfast was not included but the breakfast at the attached Houlihans was beyond great. I did leave behind a pair of sneakers and called within 24 hours to have them set aside and was initially helped by a gentleman who did not seem very interested in helping. Ultimately the sneakers were not recovered. Although disappointed with that the staff during the stay were extremely helpful. Pam was excellent and friendly and exceeded expectations. Thank you and we will return and not forget any items in the future. Ultimately my responsibility for my own clothing.

Found this hotel a couple of years ago and it is now our goto hotel on our way to Myrtle Beach .... great restaurant with upbeat fun staff ... for dinner and for breakfast .... the rooms are more than adequate after driving for 9 hours ... clean and very comfortable beds ......

With a clean room with two incredibly comfortable beds with super soft pillows, 15 minutes from Shenandoah entrance, close to shopping and stores and plenty of restaurants, the Double Tree was the best spot for a nature weekend. My wife and I loved every bit of it. We loved the free cookies at check in, the beautiful views of rolling hills and the golf course, the location of the hotel and everything they offered. It was a perfect getaway. The beds were clean, the room surprisingly had a good smart TV even though we still used our fire stick, the bathroom was spotless!
