The location is beautiful, with a lovely view of the lake, and the easy access to kayaks and canoes was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, and the room also has a Smart TV, a microwave, and a fridge. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The most unpleasant part of our stay was the bad smell in the bathroom. We believe it may have been coming from the drains. The bathroom exhaust fan was also not working, which may have contributed to the issue. This really affected our experience and is something that should be addressed. There were also a few maintenance and cleanliness issues. The towels were quite old, and one of them even had holes in it and definitely needs to be replaced. The bathroom ceiling could use a fresh coat of paint, and the glass windows need a good cleaning and some repairs. Overall, the lake view, delicious food, convenience of using the kayaks and canoes were the best parts of our stay. Addressing the unpleasant smell and the maintenance issues would make the experience much better for future guests.

more cleaning could be done in the cottages but overall it was good. it is a fishing type resort so it is good for that type of stay. it was sometimes difficult to get in touch with staff for bedding, restaurant was not open sunday morning for breakfast.

Great stay I would recommend this place for a holiday stat . The only thing is some of the plugs specifically the bedroom plugs did not work so if you use a cpac machine sorry no luck . Otherwise great staff , great food and I think I’ll be back for a holiday there one day for sure . Thanks

I've been going to this resort for 5 years now, I really don't know if I can return next year. Last year the windows didn't close and we had a nightmare dealing bugs until we put cardboard over the problem. This year, we had a rain storm and the windows were leaking so bad we had to use all the towels to clean the mess. This resort is great location, rooms are big, but A Lot needs to be done in Reno's, it's falling apart. The mattresses are sooooo stained, the bedding, bring your own, it's stained too, pillows, use your own The staff is Amazing!! So Awesome! But whoever owns this resort really needs to do some up grades and buy some new sheets

Genuinely the worst stay I've ever had, especially for the price. This claims to be a "resort". It's a glorified motel near a lake, and the rooms don't even open toward the lake. There was noone on site for check in or for any assistance. We received a message saying there was a "self check in box". It was literally just a box with keys. We could have gone into any room if we wanted because they were just sitting there. The listing says there is a restaurant on site with daily breakfast from 7am-noon. Nope. It's closed Mondays and as far as I can tell, every morning. We never gott to see a single staff member at the motel nor the restaurant. The room was filthy, literally dirt and dust everywhere, and garbage from previous occupants on the floor. There was garbage shoved in the window, no smoke alarm, broken lights and bathroom fan, the towels were in tatters, the beds were uncomfortable and the headboard s were literally just leaning against the wall, not attached to the beds. I messaged for help with many of these issues right away and noone replied. EVER. I waited for a few days to give the motel a chance to fix things before I posted a review, but where we are 5 days later with no answer whatsoever. Terrible service. Would not recommend. Even mentioned it at a local restaurant and the staff said yep, avoid it.

The room had dirty, walls that were cracked in the corner and a broken bathroom fan. The room had not been vacuumed and when I called in the lady was helpful and suggested another room but I had already turned down the bed which presented a problem for them and I was also very exhausted. The place is by a beautiful lake though with kayaks and a very good dock and a sandy beach. It was very peaceful by the lake.

Despite other reviews I read, my room on upstairs floor was updated and very clean. Tv needs to be re connected to wifi with each arrival. Waterfront access pet friendly and great sunsets. Bed and sheets super comfortable and clean. Enjoy the views from the room too. I guess one downfall is no breakfast on site but you have access to bbq outside and fridge and microwave. Very close to provincial parks and hwy 69. Will stay again

The staff always go out of their way to make our visit the best that they can. The cleanliness of the rooms is really the only downfall for us. Maybe look in to training the cleaning staff better and giving them more time to clean each room. New linens would also be a plus for us. Our breakfast was delicious and our waiter was awesome, even though he doesn’t usually do breakfast. Thank you Jamie.

The property was beautiful and we loved the water and water toys! Great for families! The cabin was a nice size! We didn’t have coffee filters or baking sheets and very little cutlery but other than that we were able to cook and were quite comfortable. It was hard to get information about the room and what was there and what wasn’t since no one is available on Sunday and mondays.

on site restaurant was great but closed on sunday and monday no staff on site to help with check in..we arrived at 330 on sunday and found by chance our room key rooms are dated with broken windows and dead flies in the window. no freshen up service in the rooms and towels never changed with some existing ones actually torn11 Not many choices in the area to stay but not sure wewould again stay there again Overall the outside grounds were well kept and the setting on the lake was perfect especially at sunset.

- the building need repair, gaps in doors and windows through which mosquitoes and flies penetrate the room - Monday morning torn garbage bags ( probably by animals ) were all over the place and there were no staff to clean - bed sheets and covers were not very clean ‘ there were no staff on site even to complain to and their phone was not replying
