This place is a romantic heaven. Truly an amazing escape from reality! You can tell from all the little details how much the owner and staff care about the property and making it special! We felt right at home at Barons CreekSide! We stayed in Barons Wagon for a glamping experience and it did not disappoint. Family of 4 and had plenty of room. It was furnished with everything we needed and felt very private even with the separate bathroom. The entire property was peaceful and welcoming, and dinner at The Club was excellent too. Great food and atmosphere, with heaters and blankets in case you get cold in the winter months. Location is perfect - doesn’t feel like you are in town and only a 5 min drive to Main St. We would definitely stay again.

The cabins are absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. All the comforts of home, but they also elude an old world charm. Highly recommended for those who want to get away, but are actually only minutes away from great wine, shopping, and German cuisine, all nestled in the heart of the Texas hill country.

Even though you're on the edge of Fredericksburg, you feel as though you are in the country. If you love animals, this is the place. Cats, ducks, etc. all are very friendly. Little interaction with the staff, but responsive when you need something. Restaurant and music on the grounds.

We stayed in ZUG had lot of expectations but horrible left mid night too much dust and lizards in bathroom and bath tub Checked in around 6PM and left around 11:30PM after seeing lizard in toilet and lizard droppings in tub not worth the price at all completely disappointed and had to drive back home Same night.
