The host was so friendly! location, location, location!! Close to the beach, restaurants, bars and a park across the street. It was too cold to use the pool however, it is there and in good condition. I will be back.

Great accommodations, very pretty property, very accommodating hosts. Tennis & basketball across the street, walk to the beach. Near to cafes, etc. use of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards. Loved it here! Pool is small, but adequate.

Home Away From Home

We call Breakaway Inn our home away from home. It is close to the ocean but at the same time far enough away from all the noise. The owners live at the property and are always willing to help in any way.

Our hosts were very hospitable, the pool was very nice, the room was very clean and there was a playground across the street, everything was easily walkable within a very short distance. We had a wonderful time and one week is never enough. I would highly recommend the Breakaway!
Less than 5 minute walk.
Some of the beautiful stays in the area.
Full bloom end of March!
Our kitchen was very handy to have some great meals!

This is our second year coming to the Breakaway Inn and it was relaxing and peaceful. The property is beautiful, although it’s old that is what gives it charm. I love coming here to stay

The Breakaway Inn is a diamond in the ruff, couldn't be happier. From the moment we meet the owner to the last day was amazing. Close to the beach, food and shopping. The weather was amazing. They took care of us and made sure they were there if we needed anything. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The bathroom shower had a significant amount of mold. Coffee pot was at least 40 years old and badly stained. Furniture and decor were dated. Unsure that blanket had been washed, but it was very worn. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash. Towels were very thin/cheap.

Loved the Old Florida feel of the property. A lo ely Garden and heated pool. Owner/manager welcoming and always available. Super convenient, yet quiet! On the down side the wi-fi ranged from unreliable to nonexistent. They are in the process of upgrade though.
