As soon as you drive onto the Surf Hotel and Gardens property..One instantly feels very welcomed..From the moment you check in..with all the beautiful trees and Gardens right across the street from the ocean..to walking into your room which is veey cozy..I just love this place!

It is a budget friendly hotel, nice little garden/gazebo area to enjoy coffee in the morning. Breakfast was very minimal, but it beat going out to breakfast. Room could have been cleaned more thoroughly, but it was not filthy.

This location has a small and cute unique gardens (front and back of the property). There's one where you can watch the sun sets and ocean, a perfect spot for couple pics. Small dog park for dog parents. Single fire pit which the property provided woods. 3min walk to market plaza and McDonald's. Breakfast was very small, no hot meal like sausage/eggs. Good spot overall. Plan to use this place again for future visits.

I've stayed here many times over many years. The place is dated, but it looks like they are making upgrades as they can. It's a quiet place with beautiful grounds. I like it because I always bring my dogs with me. The rooms were reasonably clean. The carpeting needs shampooing or replacement. The beds are hard, but I brought a pad to help. All in all, I will go back again.

Great choice for this otherwise expensive area. All your basic travel needs. - Close to many attractions. Best hiking is early in the morning, and this place is close to everything! - Rooms are basic and clean. All the amenities you would expect. Frig, microwave, hdtv with all the streaming, lots of towels. It’s good! - Free breakfast 7:00 am - 9:00 am? Real basic: cold cereal, toast, pkg donuts, apples, bananas, and beverages (coffee, tea, juice). - Check in 4:00 pm - Check out 9:00 am I didn’t like the hours, but well worth it for the price, location and amenities. There’s some great local eats, check them out. This place is great for the budget traveler. So central to everything. Clean and safe. It’s a go!

Was on a motorcycle trip and stayed here one night. The room was good and clean. Pretty good quality amenities inside. Had to wait well into the late afternoon for them to finish cleaning it, tho. And a friend of mine had to wait until the evening to get into his room. The property is pretty nice with a garden in the middle of the parking lot to chill in.
