The photos don’t even reflect what you’re booking.no towels in room, incorrect rooms given for late check in resulting in a child sleeping on the floor as we couldn’t get into any other room. 2 towels given for 6 people with no offer to remedy this. Booking mix up blamed on us booking not directly with motel. Mattress was firm and good.

The hosts were exceptionally helpful and super friendly. I liked the chairs in the rooms. Always good to have somewhere comfy to sit other than bed. Location was good, close to town and lake.

This property is everything you would want in this price range and location. It was spotlessly clean, very well maintained, all appliances worked faultlessly, the shower was hot and the bed was very comfortable. Very friendly and accommodating hosts who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was stress-free and comfortable. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, pubs etc. I thoroughly recommend.

We really were impressed from the welcome until we checked out. Lovely friendly hosts, super clean with good facilities and a reasonable room size. Walking distance to the middle of town. Will definitly stay again next visit to Forbes

Clean room. Bed was comfy with nice linen. Heater works a treat. No noise issues. Bathrooms could do with a refurb however was clean. Good location close to Forbes Inn for dinner and Sylo for morning coffee. I would suggest not showering at peak morning time in winter if you want a hot shower - hotel was full for big weekend of sport in town.

What I do find amusing is that most motels provide a kettle which is much appreciated but the access to the taps in the hand basin is always too short or too awkward to enable a person to fill the kettle. It’s a little slow filling the kettle by cup by cup. Perhaps a small jug might help😉
