The hotel was lovely, and walkable to the train station and historical sites. The room was clean and had nice amenities. We ate breakfast elsewhere, but did get a drink a the bar once. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Property was beautiful and convenient to our activities. Safe and uncrowded location. Staff was helpful but not overly friendly. Great AC. The gym was very basic and the equipment was ok but a little out of date. Breakfast was very good!

Beautiful hotel, really liked the design of the rooms. We were even upgraded in a room with balcony - very large, very nice. A little out of historic town but very close - 15 min walk, very nice if you walk near the river.

The hotel was very well situated, and walks to the Arno river side and many important areas were no more than 15 minutes. Quietly nestled in a the outskirts of the main attractions, the hotel was peaceful. Servie at the bar and the food was first rate, and exceptional. Staff was always helpful, and courteous. The single room was a bit small and certain rooms were poorly situated right at the junction of the stairs, and the sound of the door opening and closing was enough to disrupt sleep. If you are to stay at the hotel, I strongly suggest upgrading to the next level of room size. The internet was inconsistent, but not the end of the world.

Elegant, safe, relaxing property set in residential neighborhood away from the Firenze crowds. But still very close walking distance or tram stop to Duomo, Uffizzi, Academia, Ponte Vechio etc. Beautiful classic + modern decor with lovely gardens for apertivo. AC worked very well and comfortable bed - very restful stay after all the tours and walking. Breakfast is exceptional - delicious, fresh, bountiful with many selections to suit all palettes. Plus great local restaurants and shops within two blocks of property. Felt like I was in a lovely private residence with all the comfort and amenities of an upscale and welcoming home. Highly recommend to property.

This is a 4.5 star hotel. The room itself was a 5.0 with incredible with best AC in Italy, 20 foot ceilings, and modern everything. The layout of the hotel and front entrance is deceptive with the property only revealing itself after walking the corridors and courtyard. Staff were amazing. I would say couples 50 and younger stay here. I would say 60 and over may want a hotel 2 or 3 blocks closer to the center of town. I will stay here again before I turn 60 but then onto the Portrait hotel.

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean and we liked that the location was 15 mins walk away from the super busy chaos of the main tourist areas. Lots of amenities within short walk away and the walk along the river to the centre of Florence was lovely. Front desk staff were very helpful and offered great recommendations for places to eat and visit. The only downsides for us were: 1. the breakfast options which were very basic for how expensive the hotel is per night, the cooked breakfasts were not good so we had to eat elsewhere for a few days. 2. Our room was great but very much let down by the fact there was a huge window which had no cover or curtains to close which let in a lot of light as there happened to be a lamp right outside of it which shined directly in to the room. It meant our room was lit up like Times Square even in the middle of the night and we ended up having to wedge a towel over the window to try and reduce this. The window was also immediately opposite our bathroom so anyone outside could see straight in to it if they wanted to. Not sure if this is relevant for other rooms but it was very annoying for us and seems like it could be an easy fix! Overall we had a really great time and would stay again!
