I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, the amenities were excellent, and every detail made the experience feel special. The service truly went above and beyond, and I felt valued throughout my visit. I like the hotel, the location and mainly the staff. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. The issue I had was the noise at night. We could hear loud music from the rooftop bar, tourists talking and drinking outside and construction workers early in the morning. We had stayed at other hotels that were sound proof to avoid this situation

We had an overall wonderful experience at Hotel Calimala. The rooms were gorgeous, and clean. The staff was friendly, and helpful . The rooftop bar was spectacular and we loved Nadini, the daytime manager, who was a lovely, impressive person. She added immensely to the wonderful experience we had. We hope to come back to Florence some day. We will be sure to stay at Hotel Calimala when we do!

The location was perfect, steps away from all of the best sites in Florence. The property was very clean and smelled amazing. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff helped us get a taxi in the morning and even let me get a drink from the bar even though I didn’t realize a private event was happening. The drinks and food are pricey, as you would expect (about a 10 euro markup from any place else for a spritz), but we would absolutely stay here again.
