The gentleman that received us on our arrival was so helpful and approachable - he patiently answered all our questions which we had quite a few of. :-) Breakfast was wonderful, the room was very clean (!) and the hotel was just a few meters away from the Florence Duomo and some amazing restaurants and shops.

Great location, only a few minutes walk from both the Duomo and Santa Maria Novela train station. Simple continental breakfast but does the job. Staff were attentive and helpful. The room was nice for us as day travelers. If you’re doing a short trip to Florence, I would highly recommend this hotel. Also fantastic restaurant just next door with very good wait staff and DELICIOUS food

I had a wonderful stay! The continental breakfast was fresh every morning with plenty of options, including hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, and more. My room was spotless, and the air conditioning was a welcome escape after exploring Florence in the summer heat. The modern large shower was great! The staff was friendly, helpful, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The location was excellent—an easy walk to the train station and close to Florence’s beautiful historic attractions. I would definitely stay here again! Keep in mind to get to the check in desk or room there are stairs!

Hotel Accademia is right in the middle of all the main things most people come to see in Florence. The Duomo, Galleria, Medici Palace are all within minutes walking distance. Big bonus being only 5-10 mins from Firenze SMN as well. My favourite part of my stay would be the breakfast. It was like getting a home cooked breakfast every day with delicious tarts, pies, and croissants. €3.50 Aperols are not far either if you’re looking for affordable beverages close by. Would recommend! Note there are no elevators so pack light and be prepared to carry your bag up a couple flights of stairs.
