Staff were very welcoming and helpful from check in to departure. We had the basic room which was very nice indeed, a decent size and nicely furnished. Rooftop bar reasonable value for a cocktail surrounded by the sights of Florence. Very central location. Aircon very good and controllable. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Cavour in Florence! This was actually our second time staying here, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed our first visit. The room was a nice size, comfortable, and very welcoming. The location was fantastic and made it so easy to walk to many of the sights, restaurants, and attractions in Florence. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our visit again and would happily return the next time we’re in Florence!

Close to shopping and history. Staff were very friendly. Beds were hard, if you have a bad back not ideal. Not very accessible for people in wheelchairs. Stairs to rooms post elevator to floor. Breakfast was amazing!

Great location, friendly staff, quiet room and a nice rooftop bar. We did have a problem with a noisy sliding bathroom door but, once we reported the problem, it was properly taken care of. For anyone driving to the hotel, Waze did have problems getting us to the hotel so pay attention to the hotel's instructions.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was beautiful, in a great location, and the staff were excellent and very welcoming. The only disappointment was the rooftop bar. On my birthday, I was told they were closing and couldn’t serve me another drink, while other guests were still being served. After I tipped €5 and politely asked again, they finally gave me a drink. That made the experience feel uncomfortable and disappointing. Other than that, everything was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay.
