I stayed in July when temperatures were 95 and up, the room was nice and cool, breakfast was good too. Very convenient location if you are traveling to other cities, it is right in front the train station.

Right across the street from the train station which is very handy but also can get loud. Still walkable to most places you’d like to go. Check in area was busy, but fortunately my room was ready so I didn’t have to wait to go explore the city. My room was nicely appointed and I had a city view. Elevators are tiny which is not unusual in Italy. Lovely bar with happy hour which I didn’t actually get to because I was sightseeing but I really liked the looks of the bar

We had a very good stay in Florence. The location was excellent, the room was comfortable, and overall we were very happy with our experience. There are a few areas that could use a little more attention. Some parts of the hotel looked a bit worn, with noticeable marks and damage on some of the walls, and the elevator was occasionally problematic. These were relatively minor issues, though, and didn’t significantly affect our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our time here. A very good option for a stay in Florence, and we would happily recommend it!

The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel and room was clean. One minor complaint though, based on where you are in the hotel, you might smell a sewage smell. I was placed in a room at the end of the hall, on the 4th floor. The smell was very overwhelming and the staff was kind enough to find an alternative room.

The best part of this hotel is the location. It is literally opposite the train station. There’s a Five Guys across the road and a good restaurant just steps away. The hotel is old but fairly well maintained. The toilet is really large and the room itself is quite a decent size. Water pressure in the shower was weak however. The main attractions are within walking distance as is shopping. I would not mind staying here again if the price is good.

The Ambassador Hotel in Florence was situated. Conveniently 2 mins from Santa Maria Novella train station. The staff were friendly and the hotel was pleasant. I had a single room which was small but adequate. The staff were friendly, and I really liked the girl who worked in the bar. Her name was Victoria.

It located in a very good location. The breakfasts were a bit chaotic given the number of guests. But the biggest issue is the shower. It’s a shower in a both and the bath is like an ice rink with no hand rail. For someone over 60 it’s a huge risk to take a shower. Other than that great.
