We stayed here as an overnight on our trip from Klamath Falls, OR to the central coast for a few days of driving and site seeing. After the long drive down 138 (the Umpqua Highway) to Reedsport and north to Florence it was great to stay in a room with a view of the Siuslaw River and historic bridge across to Florence, with very comfortable beds, very responsive and helpful desk staff, and to wake up and have a great made-to-order breakfast. Florence is where the dunes are and a great starting point to see the rocky coast and interesting stops driving north (the dunes; the darlingtonia; Sea Lion Caves and the rocky coast) on the way to Newport and further.

Omelets were delicious. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff were super friendly. Even though it’s right on the highway it was still quiet with very little traffic noise. Would definitely recommend this property!

The room was clean. The property is outdated. There are several floors but no elevators. Interesting because the pool which is down on the bottom stairs has an ada lift to get in the pool. Everything else is not ADA friendly. It was a Best Western Prime or premium or what have you, with a lounge and restaurant, and now it doesnt have either. The pool was "out of order" all Sunday morning so we didnt get to use it. They charged over $250 per night, for outdated facilities, no food or drink, and closed pool, sauna, hot tub. Our bathroom was the strangest set up and had peeling wall paper. The made to order omelets were nice but not enough to elevate this rating
