Our stay was very comfortable. The service was fantastic, pool/hot tub great, mattress and quiet very nice. Only negative was it was rather damp and had a humid smell.

The property is beautifully maintained with a nice indoor pool and hot tub. We also had a whirlpool tub in our King suite room which was a pleasant surprise. The property is conveniently located in Fayette so there is easy access to towns and sites in the Driftless region of Iowa.

It’s a cute property very inviting . Staff was helpful. Breakfast not really a big selection but the pool area and hot tub was clean and it was quiet . They gave me complimentary water when I walked in . They also had water coffee and tea in the lobby

Boarders is a great small town hotel with all the amenities of a hotel in a big town. The indoor pool and hot tub are great. The free breakfast has great options and there is a small bar. The hotel is very clean and kept up well. Great room options and two rooms I’ve stayed in had hot tubs in the room. It is also great to have full access to Directv. Fayette has limited dining and grocery options but DT’s bar is fun and there is a Dollar General. West Union 8 miles away has some good food options like Hardee’s, Barrel’s, Dairy Queen and a Quill’s supermarket. Check out the restaurants in downtown West Union. Cute little downtown.

Staff was nice a friendly. Lobby and breakfast was good. Jacuzzi didn’t work and room seemed old and run down. Outdated, chips in paint, vents filthy. Ants in the room. I think it’s the only hotel in town. Not a lot of choices.
