The hotel is well placed in the centre of town- staff were friendly and helpful- but compared to other hotels in range, this one is tired and quite basic, the lifts open up to cleaning equipment and have a damp smell- the rooms are clean and bed very comfortable, but need an update on the decor

Resepsjonen, spisesalen og alt på bakkenivå virket nyoppusset og fint, men rommet oppover i etasjene var slitent. Her hadde det vært greit med en litt høyere standard, for det var ikke noen billig overnatting selv om vi var der utenom turistsesong. Måtte også bruke en støyende vifte om natta. Helt grei frokost men personalet gikk altfor sjelden rundt og ryddet bordene. Mange bord ble stående en god stund med brukte tallerkener o.l. på. Ellers er hotellet sentralt og pent beliggende ved vannet, med tilgjengelig parkering som var et stort pluss.
