The hotel was very nice and the staff absolutely wonderful, very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The lobby was cozy with a fireplace and lots of seating and the included breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Fabulous location! No more than 15 minutes from the most popular attractions and walking distance to several great restaurants.

We had a great stay here! So quaint and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful! Loved the whirlpool tub – just wish there were some soaps and shampoos you could’ve used in the tub rather than attached to the shower wall. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a wonderful surprise! We booked our stay here (3 nights) just based on what we read about it. We had a delightful stay! The accommodations were very comfortable and the staff welcoming and helpful. Nice water pressure in the shower, with lots of hot water. The continental breakfast was great. The overall decor of Brandywine River was charming. It almost felt like a b&b. We will most definitely return and recommend this hotel to our friends. "Chef's Kiss!"

What a wonderful place to stay when we visited nearby Longwood Gardens and The Museum. We had a clean room, that was quiet. It was perfect for us and at a reasonable price for the area. Restaurants and shopping were nearby. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. The waffle maker did not work. The hardboiled eggs were hard to peel. The staff was friendly and helpful, including the room cleaner when I asked where the ice machine was. I will book here for our Christmas visit to Longwood.
