We stay here every other year. They have a really neat lobby with models of ships, houses and lighthouses. Rooms have space to move with alright beds. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is cereal, bagels, coffee, coco, muffins and such with access to 24/7 coffee.

The best feature of this hotel is it is close to the back entrance of Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. This hotel was under renovation so should be better for future travelers. It was a bit chaotic and noisy for us.

Nice location right across US 101 from the harbor. Room was basic but comfortable. Bathroom had a saltwater or fishy smell to it, maybe previous occupants dried shells or sand. Breakfast was nice and the coffee machine was a hit. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good stay overall.
