This was such an incredible experience and the historic hotel is fantastic. It’s in a superb location. Expected in a historical hotel the bathroom and TV technology could be improved, but that would not keep me from another stay!

The Eureka Inn an old hotel (104 years old).I feel like it hasn’t been kept up like it could or should have but my stay was good. The staff is very nice and helpful. The included breakfast was good. There was plenty of parking that was included with the cost of the room. The hotel was close to all the things we wanted to do in Eureka. We enjoyed the onsite bar too. I would stay there again.

The Eureka Inn is a large but not too large, charming old world style hotel. The rooms and furnishings are very well maintained. The hotel is quiet and the staff are helpful. Also it’s in a very walkable downtown neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay. We’d stay again.

Such a beautiful historic building where numerous celebrities, three presidents, and many other dignitaries have stayed in the past. All the rooms have recently been renovated and the huge lobby with a fireplace has all new furniture and cozy seating areas. The continental breakfast was plentiful and satisfying, and our stay was perfect.

I’ve been going to this hotel for a few years. While the history of the hotel and the old timey feel of it are both really cool, it doesn’t translate into really cool rooms. The rooms are small, the temp control is pretty much nonexistent, there is no place to put your toiletries in the super small bathrooms, the parking lot that is in close proximity to the main building has maybe 10 spots-otherwise it’s the lot across the street (which I don’t feel is monitored) and the breakfast is bare bones. I’ll be researching other places to stay in the future.

This was such a cool, historic place to stay! The room was clean and well maintained. My only note would be if you stay here in the summer, it will probably be quite warm as there is no air conditioning.

Everything was fantastic! The staff was the gold star in it, very friendly and helpful. We got a room with a king size bed and the room was small ..as expected in an old building. The only thing I would really note is there was no microwave in the room. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again

This is a lovely historic landmark hotel. It's unique, not your usual generic hotel. It has lots of antique fittings including what look like original telephone booths. The only downside was the breakfast which had no hot cooked food, there are prepackaged burritos and buns which need to be microwaved. The staff were very helpful.

Neat old hotel with interesting history. Not a great area of town but walkable to the nicer parts. Beware that there is no A/C or even a fan of any kind in the room which is unbelievable. I know it’s old and they probably want to preserve the original integrity of the building, but not even a ceiling fan?! We slept with the windows open but note there’s no screens so you might be letting the bugs in. Beds were comfy, room was clean. Just pray for a cool night.

The Eureka Inn has a lot of history, beautiful lobby with fireplace, rooms are clean and nice. It could have a bar and a restaurant but that has been closed since Covid. Staff is one person on the front desk , it has potential, but it seems there is just not enough customers to support it.

Interesting place. Lots of history. Just not my jam. I couldn’t take a hot shower (lukewarm only), had limited control over the temp in the room (wanted it warmer but couldn’t adjust past a certain point), and the bathroom was size of a postage stamp with zero sink space for toiletries. It’s got a 1930s vibe I guess and I’m sure they can do only so much in renovations but I like interesting AND comfortable. This just wasn’t the whole package. Staff was nice. Breakfast was basic. Parking was a bit confusing but we sorted it.
