We loved our cabin right next to the river. The property was very peaceful and pleasant. The restaurant right next door had excellent food. Did not have to drive anywhere for diner after a long day in the park.
We loved this place. Convenient location to RMNP. Trout stream right on the property that is fishable. Room had everything we needed. Restaurant on property is also really good.
We had a great time staying at Nicky’s Resort. They were prompt in responding to our messages and the provided clear instructions for self check-in. The room was spacious, neat and well maintained. Parking in the premises was very convenient. The proximity of this property to the Rocky Mountain national park helped us plan our hikes in the park better. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Estes Park, CO.

Disliked: Amenities
Clean units, outdated bedding and bed, cute set-up. Nice that the restaurant is right there. The outdoor pool was closed, which was disappointing, and there's no staff onsite that we saw. But a good stop in Estes Park as we traveled thru RMNP on to Steamboat.
Clean room. Excellent amenities. Very responsive staff. Seamless check-in and out. Located on the way to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance (three miles away).
One suggestion: It would be even better to send out check-in instruction and door code one day ahead of check-in day, if requested, to reduce the traveler's stress. :=)
Overall, a fantastic choice for a stay in the area.
The resort is conveniently located very close to the park. The staff were extremely helpful and promptly resolved an issue with the carbon monoxide detector. The room was clean, and the checkout process was quick and straightforward.
The property was clean and the location was great. There could be better signage or directions to the property. Had to stop and ask where it was located. Also the person above us was very noisy.

No breakfast that I was aware of in Estes Park.
Property around room and cabins in disarray. Pool ,barbaque/grills not in working order and generally pretty messy outside and surroundings but my room was excellent.
Sitting on my deck overlooking river was the best!
The view from the room through the sliding glass doors is not representative of the actual view from any of the rooms.
Parking was limited but not a problem and we had a spot close to our room.
The room was clean.
There is no "front desk" whatsoever. You need to check yourself in using your phone. Later, if you want anything (extra pillow, help with the tv, etc.) you need to walk to the un-manned office and ring a bell for help. (There are no phones in the rooms either.)
The "furnished" kitchen cabinets contain a hodgepodge of secondhand cups, glasses and dishware. Also, after you make your reservation, you will receive a request for you to wash your dishes before you leave. (Which we did.)
Depending on the time of day, there was either no cell service or just one bar in the room we were in (we were on the lower level - service may have been better upstairs.)
