The hotel is outdated. The rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s very good situated for the i15 freeway. The reason I gave it that star rating was because there is bad odour in the hotel. Other than the smell i was reasonably happy with my one night stay.

Front desk check in was great. Would like tea as an option to coffee. I have never liked coffee. Tea in the room would be nice. Also at breakfast you need hot chocolate. One of the cleanest places that I have stayed at.

The only complaint I have is the front desk staff they were rude and disrespectful. They don’t make you feel welcome and like you are bothering them. That’s the reason I won’t come back to this property! Other than that the room was clean and the cleaning people were nicer than other ones.

This hotel was much better than I expected. We got a 1 bedroom king suite with separate bedroom, and queen bed and pull-out. It worked very well for our family of 5, and was clean and quiet and comfortable. My only complaint is that there was no outside space to eat breakfast other than the smoking area. For a San Diego hotel, it would be nice to have some outside space. Maybe consider opening the pool area for adults only breakfast in the morning.
