The Hotel is good for the stay and it is clean. Check-in is automated and it was seamless. Only issue we noticed is rooms are bit cold in the night and we are unable to switch on heaters!! Otherwise the hotel is very good to stay with family.

The rim was very austere (nothing on the walls), but we didn’t go there for the artwork. + We liked the room, and the cost! + Location was good, near a bus station for those needing public transportation, + Self-check-in at kiosk was very easy, and allowed us to be able to check in later in the evening than some other hotels. - About 18-20 stairs down to the hotel from street level, had to carry luggage, and would be difficult for folks with wheelchairs - Parking was very limited, and difficult to get into. Some of the spaces had curbing in front of them, so getting over the curb was difficult. Also spaces were not marked, so some gaps were too narrow to use. - The smoke detector was dangling from the ceiling with tissue paper (?) around it. Not quite sure if it was functional or not, but we took our chances. Overall, a good hotel for the money. (Room 214, 9/23/2026)

We booked to stay here while attending the F1 Grand Prix in Spa, 29 miles away. It was convenient, very clean, had spacious rooms and was a pleasant stay. The only negative was that there are no staff onsite (all automated) and therefore no breakfast options. Not even tea or coffee making in rooms! I’d stay again, but I’d take a kettle with me. The only options for food within walking distance are McDonald’s and Burger King, which my 14 yr old loved but I wasn’t so keen. We did buy food in Lidl but fresh food went off quickly in the heat, with no refrigeration facilities.

We felt deceived that the building we were lodged in was not the one shown online. The automatic checking machine malfunctioned but there was no notice about it. Had to walk 500 metres to the related motel to obtain key cards to the room. Only amenity was a tv and shower gel. A kettle to boil water would be useful. Only a dozen parking spaces available. No restaurants or cafes within walking distance except McDonald’s. Bus to Aachen directly across the road

Hotel with excellent price-performance ratio !

A very well thought-out hotel concept with an excellent price-performance ratio. BestPrice Hotels clearly prove that hotel prices can be considerably cheaper if you run them without receptionists... Warmly recommended.

This is more a shelter rather than a hotel. No customer service, no reception, no fridge in the rooms, no kettle, no coffee, no tea, just two pillows, a place to sleep and leave very basic service better to go to the nearby city Aachen for better hotels.
