Rooms were cleaner than expected. The bedding was clean and so was the floor. I appreciate the metal bed frame which reduces the chances of bed bugs. The curtains really provided a blackout room which allowed me to rest better. The sink drain didn't have a latch for the stopper which limited how much I could use the sink. Common indoor areas could be cleaner. All in all a good this was a good stay for a reasonable price.

Staff was amazing! At check in I yawned and they immediately asked if I wanted a cup of coffee. Check in was easy. Staff very friendly. The area around the hotel seems a little sketchy but the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Smith at the front desk went above and beyond at check out. Gave me a bottle of water and treats for the ride. Very friendly.

I mean, you get what you pay for I suppose. The bathroom door was busted and wouldnt close, the window curtains don't close fully, you can hear all of your neighbors, and there was a police raid of some kind during my stay. But the staff was kind and treated me nicely, and the other folks staying there were quite friendly.

We selected this Red Roof Inn as an economical option to visit the US Brig Niagara at the nearby Maritime Museum (just a few minutes easy drive). We are grading it based on an "economy" hotel as opposed to a "luxury" hotel, which it is not (you have to carry your own bags, no restaurant on site, no hair dryer in the room, etc.) Having said that, the checkin was quick and easy with a friendly staff (Petar, in our case). They had sufficient luggage carts available to use without waiting for one to be returned. The room was clean, and sufficient, although it only had one chair (at the desk) so a second person has to sit on the bed. No Gideon Bible, if that's important to you. Very nice refrigerator with a separate freezer (better than the fridge in the Wyndham Garden Hotel we stayed at the next evening). No coffee machine in the room, but coffee and other beverages were available in the lobby. You could use the microwave to boil water for instant coffee, if you wanted. Not the prettiest part of town, because it's a fairly commercial area. Overall, we had no complaints and would happily stay there again.

The device was great from checking in to checking out. The room was a little smaller than the pics but not a deal breaker. We stayed in the first floor and maybe next time we need an upper fooor as people in the parking lot were old all night until 2am. Water pressure was weak but bathroom was huge!
