Great location amazing staff very clean I went during Jun and it was too hot and a lot of insects and mosquitoes so the hotel should provide at least fans for the rooms and put a mosquito nets on the balcony door so we can open it at night because no air conditions in this area not only in this hotel .

Great location, scenic view from the balcony, short walking distance to mount titlis rides and Engelburg train station. Not so great breakfast. Lady at reception was very helpful to accommodate our needs. Gent at the reception needs to work on his listening skills as he cut me while speaking when I tried explaining that we already parked and already had a parking tag and when we asked for a kettle, he generalized us and self assumed that we may use that to cook food, which we were not planning to. He may had bad experiences hence we understand .. otherwise a great location to stay.

Gorgeous location for the hotel, and clean rooms. Rustic vibe. Extremely pretty view from the windows and good breakfast. Be warned it is a little difficult to carry luggage manually up the steep slope to the hotel. Taxi to help carry everything costs 16 CHF from the station to the hotel.

It was a beautiful setting with amazing nice staff, however the walk (in the winter) was a bit grueling with the ice on the uphill drive to the hotel. Other than that it was an amazing stay

Hotel-Restaurant Bänklialp is a wonderful hotel. I stayed in the single room with a balcony and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very clean and recently remodeled. The facilities are well-equipped, with a sauna/steam room on site, electric hot water kettle in rooms, common ski room with boot dryers in lockers, covered parking, and a good restaurant on site. My room itself was small, but very clean, had a nice view of the valley/mountains, a balcony, and small closet. The staff is very nice and helpful. The only negative is the hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the gondola and 5-7 minutes to the train station. But, it was well worth it for the quality of hotel and value. Also, the restaurant is very good, my chicken cordon bleu was one of the best meals I've had in Switzerland.

Schönes Hotel! Wir waren für eine Nacht dort und hatten vom Balkon eine tolle Aussicht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt nahe am Dorf und der Parkplatz war kostenlos. Das Zimmer war gut und es hat für uns alles gepasst. Auch das Frühstück war lecker, die Auswahl könnte aber etwas grösser sein. Man merkt, dass das Hotel eher für den Winter ausgelegt ist. Wenn es im Sommer draussen warm ist, wird es auch im Zimmer ziemlich warm. Für uns war das aber kein grosses Problem. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!
