What a marvellous place to stay, the host Sean was a delight and could not be more welcoming and friendly. The bed was clean and comfy so a good nights sleep was followed by a tasty breakfast. We will definitely stay again.

I have stayed many times because it’s just so clean, hosts so very helpful & friendly, breakfasts super fresh & well cooked. Ample free parking and delightful rural location within very easy reach of Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds. You are spoilt for choice regarding lovely restaurants/takeouts and sightseeing. It’s wonderful. I return time and time again.

Nice quiet place to stay.

Very quiet location. Away from everything. Friendly and helpful host. Enjoyed cooked breakfast too. Tea and coffee available in the dining area. Rooms comfortable. Had a good night's sleep.

Really enjoyed my stay here, the owners are very friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. If I was to really, really 'nitpick' the WiFi signal was a little weak and I ended up reverting back to my mobile data, but everything else was brilliant and I'll definitely be booking here again if and when the opportunity arises. Have already recommended to several colleagues.

Fantastic location for peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of sight seeing. A very friendly welcome from the owner who also does a great breakfast included in the price. The rooms are spot on for what you want it for. Always stay there the owner can't do enough for you highly recommend it.

Lovely stay at the Woodlands. The owner and his wife couldn't be nicer people. It's a nice change from the homogenised and impersonal experience you normally find at the typical chain hotels. The setting of the place was so nice aswell. Lovely trees, beautiful countryside and the nice older buildings... it made it feel unique. Breakfast was excellent and the whole vibe of the place was relaxed. I would stay here again!

Amazing stay!

Stayed over for the night as I working in the area. Incredibly fantastic price for what I got. Beautiful stay in countryside. Really nice and friendly. Amazing cooked breakfast in the morning! Couldn’t recommend enough. Would definitely stay here again.

This was an an enjoyable experience, particular for a sole traveller. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast (which was very good food) was an enjoyable social experience meeting other guests that you do not tend to get with staying at a larger chain hotel. Very relaxing and quiet rural location, easy for getting out and visiting Ely or Cambridge.
