This hotel is one I would like to visit again, it has character, the king bed in our room was very comfortable, the room was good sized and located in the dowtown Ely district where they are renovating the old town. It is a great location, you can park in front of your room, and the price point was marvelous. Oh, I forgot to mention the shower nozzle, water pressure and HOT water were consistent and spot on! I'm so glad the HI Express was booked full as was the La Quinta Inn, both at 3X the cost-- it allowed us to find this Iconic beauty!

Clean room, friendly staff, great price. The only thing was the room was pretty warm when we got there and the AC units are older. It took 1.5 hours for the room to cool to a comfortable temperature. I would definitely stay here again. Great budget motel.

The beds at this property are comfortable and look well appointed when one arrives. We stayed in room 120. If we stay in Ely again we will choose this motel but will definitely ask for any room other than rm 120. It is under lighted and very cramped. We did not use the shower during this overnight stay, it was uninviting. The upstairs neighbors were very audible tho' they did respect the "curfew" time posted. The staff remembered us from our last tay.
